 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress, comedian, activist) is a comedian. She was born to Jewish parents from the Soviet Union and started her career as child actress after she immigrated to the United States. From 2013 to 2016 she was the AT&T salesperson Lily Adams, and since 2020. She gained fame for her roles in television commercials. In addition to her commercial appearances, she was also a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction show Other Space (2015). She also had regularly featured in the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub is also the voice of Squirrel Girl on the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after being chosen to voice Squirrel Girl in the unaired television pilot of New Warriors. Vayntrub is a Jewish person was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. Her parents and her were exiled from antisemitism by the age of two. They moved to West Hollywood. Her family's financial troubles resulted in her appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of five. Vayntrub was a student at Beverly Hills High School briefly however she quit during her sophomore year. She later obtained an GED, and graduated with the Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at the University of California, San Diego. She studied improv comedy with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
